ButterMeUp! does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind in the app.
The game saves your progress and preferences locally on your device using Apple's standard app storage. This never leaves your device unless you use Apple's own iCloud device backup. It includes:
Deleting the app removes all of it.
If you choose to sign in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are submitted to Apple's Game Center service so that leaderboards and achievements work. That data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, not by us. We never receive your Apple Account, your real name, or any contact details.
Game Center is entirely optional. Declining it does not limit the game: every level, bread and mode remains fully playable, and your scores are still saved on your device.
The game is rated 4+ and is safe for children. Because we collect no data at all, we collect nothing from children either. There is no chat, no user-generated content, no advertising, and no web browsing in the app.
ButterMeUp! is a one-time purchase. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no payment information is ever handled by the app.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
